I am an Indian architect currently working as a Senior Designer at Sou Fujimoto Architects in Tokyo. I completed my architecture degree at the University of Mumbai, IES College of Architecture in 2015. Following graduation, I gained valuable experience at Practice Design and White 3 Design in Mumbai. Currently, I am devoted to developing my own architectural practice, focusing on designing minimalistic and emotionally engaging spaces that combine simplicity and tidiness with the essence of human living. My portfolio spans across various disciplines, including architectural designs, interior design, and product design.
Having experienced the Japanese culture for over half a decade, the wabi-sabi sense of design really inspired me to embrace it in my projects too. Using minimal forms and understated details to create a sense of serenity and calmness, rather than overwhelming the senses with bold colors or grandeur. This approach to architecture honors the connection between people and their environment, celebrating the imperfections and transient nature of existence.
